All about Roald Dahl...

 

Roald Dahl was born in England in 1916 and spent much of his childhood in boarding schools. He began his career as a writer after nearly dying in a plane crash during the war in 1942. After successful publications in Time magazine, as well as novellas and short stories for adults, Dahl published his first children's novel James and the Giant peach in 1960.
